By volunteering to share her time and organizing expertise as a trainer of disadvantaged people who are undertaking challenging and life-defining transitions, Jeannie is helping people to reaching toward self-sufficiency. Jeannie volunteers her time to plan and execute regular organizing workshops for the women in our Caring Communities program. These women are often in recovery for drugs and alcohol or domestic abuse, are single mothers, and are committed to getting their lives back on track for the sake of their families. The organizing workshop provides these women with valuable knowledge and tools. Most importantly, Jeannie's volunteer work gives our clients hope and support. She is an invaluable resource!
